Visit an unexcavated archaeological site. Get an idea of the archaeologist work to restore this amazing buildings. Access to this sites is restricted and 4x4 vehicles are needed.
Plan A: Oxpemul.
Of all archeological sites found in the Biosphere, Oxpemul is the most recent. Despite many of its archeological vestiges have not been restored, it has a collection of 17 sculpted monuments that are in an amazing state of conservation.
Plan B: Rio Bec.
This tour opens up the possibility to get to know one of the largest residential cities of Mayan culture. Its state of conservation and the marvelous detail of its palaces and buildings gives name to a whole new architectural style.
